Mechanical Engineer - Daniel Stevens

Daniel Stevens holds a bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the Whitacre College of Engineering at Texas Tech University and has been working for our team since 2012. Daniel has made several stops as he has moved up through the ranks; starting in the wash department cleaning motor parts; moving to the large motor department where he learned to disassemble and assemble large electric motors, diagnose problems and failures, and perform electrical and mechanical tests on subject motors; finally making his way into field service where his duties included motor diagnostics, laser alignments, vibration analysis, and maintenance all in an onsite capacity. In 2015, Daniel became primarily involved in research and development projects, from concept and design, to prototype testing, to the finish product. He works closely with electrical engineers, computer engineers, and software developers in an open group dynamic. In 2019, Daniel transitioned into engineering services, specializing in vibration analysis and motion amplification. Where he uses the experience, he learned in the field, on the shop floor, and in the classroom.
