ETL believes and adheres to a safety first approach when designing a Motor Lab. We focus our efforts on providing a safe work environment around the test pad by offering solutions to reduce exposure to both electrical and mechanical hazards.
Reducing exposure to electrical hazards is accomplished, in part, by providing remote operation of the test outside the test area. This not only reduces exposure to arc flash hazards; it reduces exposure to potential mechanical failures. All ETL test labs are equipped with multiple physical emergency stop devices. ETL provides safety recommendations and offers safety training options for both new and existing staff.
