Test Overview
A common growler test where a hack saw blade is held above each rotor bar and checked for vibration and/or “buzzing” noise, signifying a broken or damaged rotor bar.
Test Deficiencies
The element of human interpretation makes this test unreliable for the purposes of communicating a diagnosis, with any degree of confidence, to a customer.
